Born and raised in Hong Kong, Annabel was drawn to photography at a young age. Inspired by the rich visual environment of the ever-changing city, she began documenting the streets of Hong Kong at ten years of age.

As an MA Art History graduate, Annabel bridges her academic interests in art and visual culture with her fascination for image-making as a method of storytelling and documentation. With particular attention to colour, movement and light, she seeks moments of beauty and tranquility in the everyday while communicating her deep connection to Hong Kong. Nature is one of Annabel’s greatest inspirations; particularly the sea and coastline, forest and mountainside. She searches for resonances in the city, such as architectural reflections as a connection to bodies of water.

Though her work is genre-fluid, Annabel’s portfolio predominantly features street photography, portraiture, art, performance, travel, and still life.
